Building Legacy

Live the way you want to be remembered.

How do you want to be remembered?

Hearts for Love

One of the most magnificent things about being raised by my grandma was that she taught me one of life’s most important lessons and that was to give love to what stirs your heart.

As a child it was a family in Mexico that we supported, and I wrote letters back and forth to a girl and boy close to my age. As an adult I have carried on this loving tradition for over 30 years with the children of Kenya Africa. This sweet girl is Catharine who I have been supporting for some years now. She calls herself Cat and is smart, caring and a budding artist. Both parents have passed so she would be considered a orphan, but with my support and the wonderful work of a nonprofit called Hearts for love worldwide and a beautiful foster family, Cat is supported with love, schooling, healthcare, activities and counseling.

I plan on going to Kenya to meet her and spread my teaching of woman’s leadership and laughter yoga soon. I will be inviting other woman leaders like myself that feel the tug to make a difference.

You can choose a one-time donation or find a child that you want to support on a monthly basis. If you choose a one-time donation, please put my name in the Designation section so they can track donations.

Animal Rescue

What is it about the souls of animals that pull our heartstrings?

I think  the fact that they love so unconditionally and create a space for us to be our total soul selves. I have been rescuing animals for as long as I can remember. It started with a cat named Flower that had been hit by a car in the mid-1980s and was found behind my work in a gully. As a single mom, I had no funds for a vet, and no one wanted her, but I did not hesitate to raise my hand. She was very beaten up and it took weeks to get her back to normal. The love my children and I felt for that sweet cat still lives on today. The experience was my first time I really knew I could make a difference on this earth.

 I have never stopped.

Meet Blossom, this poor old girl was dropped off at a kill pen in 2022 to be sold for dog food. I took one look at her broken, emaciated state and had to step in. She is an amazing old girl whom every day reminds me of what we are here for as women leaders, to make a change.

She is grateful for me, and I am grateful for what she teaches me every time I am with her.

Poland Syndrome

I was born with a birth defect called Poland Syndrome, it has been my biggest life challenge as far as self-acceptance and my biggest gift as far as finding my true love, myself. It taught me that sometimes life gives you pain so you can learn how strong you are.

The pain of this birth defect has really been my greatest gift and without understanding that pain I could not serve others as a self-loved leader. I thank God for the compassion I have for others pain and the knowledge that just like me they can step past it.

This book is how I have supported other women with P.S. sharing coaching, scholarships, and love.

100% of all proceeds from this book support people with Poland Syndrome
